Location: Greater Manchester (Remote working available with occasional office travel) Business Area: Kier Transportation, Rail Contract: Full Time, Permanent (Flexible and part-time hours available) What will your responsibilities be?: As a Finance Manager you will be working in the Rail Finance team, the Finance Manager is responsible for business partnering with a number of commercial and operational leads to manage budgets, drive contract efficiencies, recover costs and provide insightful and timely reporting to Senior Management. The position sits within the Transportation Finance Function, reporting to the Rail Finance Director. An important part of the role will be building a strong network around the projects so that you are the go-to person for your Rail projects. Leading the project quarterly forecasting process. Produce monthly management accounts for the projects, adhering to deadlines Support the commercial and operational teams to ensure a true position is understood for monthly Cost Valuation Reviews (CVRs) Provide insightful reporting to management to allow decisions to be made and areas of concern to be identified Work with the Rail Senior Management Team to drive contract performance improvement Developing and implementing financial systems to meet the business requirements.
