Job description: The Manufacturing Process Engineer is responsible for developing, optimising, and sustaining production processes to ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective high-volume manufacturing. The role focuses on process stability, yield improvement, cycle time reduction, quality enhancement, and continuous improvement, while supporting new product introductions and ongoing operational excellence. Key Responsibilities Investigate manufacturing related issues, route cause analysis and problem solving Lead and support operational improvement projects, including lean initiatives, process and process flow improvements Support quality improvement / scrap reduction initiatives and support the quality and production teams in this respect Process yield and defect rates Cycle time and throughput improvement Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) Scrap and rework reduction with a view to achieving Net Manufacturing Savings (NMS) Creation and control of SOPs and WI Cost savings from process improvements Successful NPI launches and production ramp-ups Essential Criteria Bachelors degree or higher in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, Electrical Engineering, or related field HNC/HND relevant experience considered Strong understanding of high-volume manufacturing processes Experience in the use of process capability analysis (SPC) Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen Understanding and use of continuous Improvement, root cause analysis, and structured problem solving Experience with automation, fixtures, tooling, material handling and industrial equipment Data analysis and use of manufacturing KPIs (OEE, scrap, yield) Desirable Criteria 2 years experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment Experience in industries such as automotive, electronics, FMCG, or aerospace Masters degree or professional certification (Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt) Ability to produce CAD drawings and operational layouts If you have the skills required for this role please forward a CV via the link and a member of HR Team will give you a call.
