Interim FP&A Analyst
Location: Spalding - 5 days per week on site
Day Rate: £350-£400 per day (inside IR35)
Contract Length: 3-6 months (with potential to extend)

The Opportunity
Robert Half are working exclusively on an interim assignment for an experienced Finance Professional to take on a hands-on FP&A Manager role for a fast-paced organisation based in Spalding. This is a critical position that will ensure continuity of financial planning, forecasting, and reporting processes while supporting senior leadership with robust analysis and decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead and manage the delivery of all financial forecasting, reporting, and analysis activities.
2. Consolidate daily, weekly, and monthly performance reporting, providing timely insights to senior management.
3. Oversee forecasting cycles including 13-week trackers, quarterly forecasts, and longer-term business planning.
4. Support product costing, pricing, and variance analysis in collaboration with operational and procurement teams.
5. Deliver clear and actionable insight into business performance, cost drivers, and margin trends.
6. Assist with capital investment appraisals, forecasts, and spend tracking.
7. Partner with senior stakeholders to ensure accurate, consistent, and insightful financial information is available for decision-making.
8. Maintain strong controls and governance standards, ensuring compliance with group and statutory requirements.
9. Support transformation, process improvement, and standardisation initiatives across finance.
10. Provide guidance and leadership to the local FP&A team, ensuring effective performance and development.
About You
11. Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or equivalent with strong post-qualification experience.
12. Proven track record in financial planning & analysis, ideally within a fast-paced, operationally focused environment.
13. Strong commercial awareness and ability to translate financial data into meaningful insight.
14. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
15. Proficiency with financial ERP and business reporting tools.
16. Hands-on, resilient, and comfortable working to tight deadlines in a dynamic environment.
