A Top 25 firm with 100+ Legal 500 tier rankings and countless ranked departments in Chambers and Partners, the firm has received significant recognition for its high level of expertise across a huge range of disciplines.

In large part, this success can be attributed to the incredible legal talent the business has fostered over time. With numerous Hall of Fame lawyers, leading individuals, NextGen Partners and Rising Stars, the firm has a track record of maturing some of the sharpest legal minds.

Clients include some of the largest international businesses in history, and the resulting scale and quality of work are unparalleled. For lawyers seeking an opportunity to join a firm where they can accelerate their career into the upper echelons of the legal profession, this business will support them well towards achieving that goal.

Role:

You will join a Legal 500 highly-ranked Construction team as an Associate in the firm's prestigious national team.

Clients range in scale from small Scottish SMEs to all 20 of the world's largest contracts, and you will support them with conflict resolution in sectors including transport, energy, social infrastructure and more. Your role will involve:

1. Advising clients on high-profile, complex construction and engineering disputes.
2. Representing clients in adjudications, arbitrations, mediations, and litigation.
3. Providing strategic advice on risk management, dispute avoidance, and project delivery.
4. Collaborating with international teams on multi-jurisdictional matters.
5. Building long-term relationships with clients and contributing to their success.

As an Associate, you will play a vital role in this close-knit team, by supporting the development of junior lawyers and cementing client relationships. With support from respected partners, you can expect the platform to develop your leadership and commercial skills, a real opportunity to become an all-around lawyer and partner-in-making.

You can expect an attractive remuneration package, genuine flexibility in a supportive environment, and a clear progression pathway and support to reach a Partnership should that be of interest.

Ideal Candidate

6. 4+ years PQE with experience in construction, advisory, or disputes.
7. Strong technical skills and a commercial mindset.
8. Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
9. A passion for working in the infrastructure, energy, or real estate sectors.
10. A proactive, client-focused approach with a drive for professional growth.

15. First-rate career development opportunities
16. Generous salary
17. Excellent package including financial protection measures, well-being considerations and favourable holiday/leave entitlements
