The role would suit an experienced Management Accountant, Assistant Management Accountant looking for their next step, or a finance professional who is qualified by experience. The Role
Reporting into the Finance Manager, you'll play a key role in the production of management information and supporting the wider business with financial reporting and analysis.
* Preparing monthly management accounts and supporting reports
* Performing balance sheet reconciliations and month‑end activities
* Producing variance analysis and financial commentary
* Assisting with budgeting and forecasting processes
* Monitoring costs and supporting financial performance reviews
* Supporting stakeholders across the business with financial information and analysis
* Assisting with year‑end audit requirements
* Identifying opportunities to improve finance processes and controls
* Providing ad hoc reporting and analysis as required
About You
* Previous experience within a Management Accountant, Assistant Management Accountant or similar finance position
* Strong month‑end accounting experience
* Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills
* Good Excel and systems knowledge
* The confidence to communicate with colleagues across different departments
* Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
