Belmont Recruitment are currently seeking an experienced Customer Service Administrator to work with Middlesbrough Council on a temporary basis. This is a full-time role working 37 hours per week in the Council’s Public Health department (Adult’s social care & health integration). Main Duties: As a key member of the frontline team, you’ll undertake various duties across the department, from greeting visitors and handling calls, to supporting health campaigns and managing bookings. You’ll help deliver an excellent customer experience while assisting with the day-to-day operations of the centres and broader Public Health South Tees team. * Welcoming and supporting members of the public in person, online and by phone * Providing admin and financial support for public health projects and campaigns * Managing centre bookings, organising meetings, and updating digital content * Offering guidance and signposting to community services Essential Criteria: * NVQ Level 2 in relevant subject (i.e. Administration or Customer Service) or equivalent experience * Prior experience in a customer-facing environment, ideally within a Local Authority or Public Sector entity * Comfortable with IT systems and general admin tasks * Organised, proactive, and great at multitasking * A full driving licence or flexibility to travel between sites * Knowledge of public health and relevant business processes If your skills match the above criteria, please apply with your up-to-date CV
