Facilities Assistant - Domestics (Part-Time)
Vacancy: Part-Time Facilities Assistant - Domestic (Floor person with use of machinery) 15 hours per week (Monday to Friday, hours: 16:00 to 19:00)
£9446 per annum (£12.08 per hour)
The successful candidate will work flexibly across various wards and departmental teams, becoming an integral part of the Facilities Department.
The role involves performing cleaning duties, including operating floor cleaning machinery, in all areas of our busy Healthcare premises, following the standards set by the National Specifications for Cleanliness in the NHS.

Main duties of the job
We seek a motivated individual to join the Facilities team, performing cleaning duties across the premises to meet NHS cleanliness standards.
* Use of cleaning equipment
* Adherence to policies on food hygiene, HACCP, personal hygiene, and cleaning procedures
* Cleaning surfaces, removing debris, and maintaining cleanliness
* Replacing curtains and blinds as needed
* Cleaning floors daily
* Managing waste bins and disposal
* Cleaning glass surfaces and sanitary areas
* Maintaining equipment
* Respecting patient privacy and dignity
* Cleaning beds and furniture
* Adopting a flexible approach
* Proper storage of items
* Handling water jugs and assisting with food and beverage service
* Supporting departmental paperwork and goods
