Duties and responsibilities
* Perform assembly and welding operations according to drawings and established tolerances
* Communicate with forklift operator for supply needs;
* Calibrate the welding device
* Assemble and weld parts according to drawings and templates
* Sand welded parts
* Inspect the quality of welded parts
* Use a positioner, overhead crane, or jib crane to move parts
* Help support the activities of other departments
* Compressed schedule to take advantage of Friday afternoons off
* Up to 5 weeks of vacation per year, including 3 weeks of vacation upon being hired

Your profile
* Be able to read drawings
* Be familiar with welding symbols
* Be precise and meticulous
* Have a good reasoning
Qualifications
* Diploma of vocational studies (DEP) in welding and assembly (completed or in progress)
* 1 to 2 years of experience in welding or a similar position
* Overhead crane operator card
* MIG steel experience (asset)
