We're hiring a CTO / Tech Lead to join a fully remote AI startup building what's best described as "Notion for AI agents" - a local Electron app where people use AI agents for strategy, planning, research, and knowledge work (not just coding).
This is a 3-person, pre-PMF startup, backed by $6m pre-seed funding at a $36m valuation, with ~4 years of runway. The company has deep roots in multi-agent systems and is now focused on turning that research edge into a high-leverage user-facing product.
You'll join as a founding-level Tech Lead, owning product + engineering, with a clear path to CTO as the company scales.

What You'll Do
~50% Product & Engineering Leadership
6. Own the user-facing product, roadmap, and technical direction
7. Talk directly to users, identify pain points, and iterate rapidly
8. Prototype and ship features fast (think week-long build cycles)

10. Explore how to scale from tens hundreds thousands of agents
11. Design and build multi-agent coordination and performance systems
12. Turn research ideas into shipping product capabilities, not papers
13. Work hands-on with agents used daily for product discovery and decision-making
What We're Looking For
Must-haves:
14. Strong product engineer background with end-to-end ownership
15. Experience with TypeScript and frontend work (Electron / desktop apps ideal)
16. Comfort working with Python and AI/agent systems on the backend
Nice-to-haves:
17. Experience with multi-agent systems, LLM orchestration, or AI tooling
18. Previous founding / early-stage startup experience
