Star Central, which is based at our head office in Blackburn, Lancashire, provides leadership, strategic direction and support to Star Academies, Star Institute and our schools.

We support our schools to provide educational and operational excellence and to cultivate a strong Star community, with the aim of nurturing today’s young people and inspiring tomorrow’s leaders.
Who we’re looking for
We are looking for an exceptional individual to act on behalf of the Trust to ensure compliance with legislation and to support our schools in fulfilling their statutory obligations in relation to admissions and exclusions.
You will be assisting in the development and review of policies, allocating school places and providing advice, guidance and training to staff in our schools.
Working alongside subject experts you will offer support, advice and guidance to schools on admission and exclusion related matters.
Please submit an application if you have experience of working within an education setting or Local Authority or have relevant transferable skills and are looking to try something new on a fixed term basis until May 2025.
You will have:
1. 5 GCSEs (incl. Maths and English Grade C or above).
2. Experience of analysing, preparing and presenting reports.
3. Experience of developing, communicating and successfully implementing guidance and procedures.
4. The ability to analyse and interpret legislation
5. The ability to effectively prioritise and manage conflicting demands under pressure.
