Offer description

We are keen to recruit a Specialist Health Visitor to work with us in East Early Years CAMHS. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a service which is keen to develop and innovate. The post will cover the areas of Wrexham and Flintshire.

You will be part of a supportive multidisciplinary team of professionals focused on parent-infant/early years mental health, working closely with a range of services across the early years network.

Working closely with Health Visiting and other professionals, you will undertake specialist therapeutic interventions focusing on the family and parent-infant dyad, including via groups. The post holder will offer consultation to families, health professionals, and to multiagency colleagues. An essential component of the role is to build capacity and support the wider system around families by promoting knowledge and skills related to infant/early years mental health, including supporting training and supervision in evidence-based interventions. You will have ample opportunities to contribute to service development and audit, and to develop your leadership, supervision and consultation skills.

Regular clinical supervision will be provided by a clinical psychologist, and professional supervision will be provided by the service manager for health visiting.
