We're looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician (Electrical Bias) to deliver high-quality planned and reactive maintenance across a busy healthcare environment. This is a hands-on, varied role where no two days are the same-ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving and wants to make a real impact.
What You'll Be Doing
Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs across electrical systems and wider building services
Diagnose faults, complete repairs, and support small upgrade and improvement projects
Work across disciplines including electrical, mechanical, plumbing and general maintenance
Support and monitor contractors, ensuring work is compliant and completed to a high standard
Use systems such as helpdesk platforms and BMS to manage workflow and track issues
Play a key role in maintaining a safe, compliant and efficient environmentWhat's in it for You
On-call allowance: £1,500 per year + £86 standby per week

Qualified in Electrical Engineering (City & Guilds Level 3 & 18th Edition essential)
Completed a recognised apprenticeship
Strong experience in maintenance and fault finding
Confident working independently and as part of a team
Experience supervising contractors and working across multiple disciplines
Organised, proactive and committed to safetyDesirable Experience

BMS/BEMS systems
On-call rota participationAdditional Responsibilities
Participate in a 1-in-3 on-call rota
Act as part of the fire response team
Maintain accurate records and uphold health & safety compliance
