Looking for HGV1 drivers, 3 to 5 shifts a week, between Monday through to Sunday. Temporary work at our Client based in KT16 (Surrey).
They work in the television & film production industry in the UK and Europe, *assignments will mainly be around London. Assessment ASAP*
The role involves:
- Moving trailers between different production sites around London
- *No heavy lifting involved*
*Salary: £22.50 to £25 / per hour (depending on shift), with an 8-hour guarantee per shift.*
· Afternoon/evening shifts
· Minimum 8 hours guaranteed
· Weekly pay
· Rates include holiday pay
· _Nights out may be available_
Requirements:
- Immediate start possible
- Be flexible: availability from Monday to Sunday as our Client runs 24/7
- Have a professional and positive attitude
- Good knowledge of working and driving regulations WTD and driving hours
- Good understanding of spoken and written English
- Good communication and good customer service skills
- Assessment/induction to be taken at Client’s premises prior to starting the role: 1 hour of driving (practical test) + written test on knowledge of Highway Codes, Signs & WTD Regulations.
Assessments will take place Mon to Fri ASAP – day time - as per Client’s availability.
_*Assessment will be paid after satisfactory completion of 5 solo shifts.*_
Criteria:
· 5th wheel experience necessary
. Valid UK Driving Licence, CPC and Digi Tacho
· Full C+E licence*, minimum 12 months*
· Continuous experience of 6 months or more of Class 1 UK driving experience in the last year
· No more than 6 points *SHOWING *on a licence check
· No endorsement codes i.e. DR, DD, IN, CD, DG
· Good knowledge of UK roads
· Must have your *OWN* transport
· Must have your *OWN* truck Sat Nav
· Our client will not accept Ltd company drivers
