As a Principal Engineer at JPMorgan Chase within the Accelerator, you are the heart of this venture, focused on getting smart ideas into the hands of our customers. You have a curious mindset, thrive in collaborative squads, and are passionate about new technology. By your nature, you are also solution‑oriented, commercially savvy and have a head for fintech. Job responsibilities
* Establish and refine SDLC (testing strategy, automation, CI/CD, code quality gates) optimizing developer experience, velocity and robustness
* Design a release strategy enabling frequent, stable releases
* Define and evolve React Native / Expo mobile architecture for a mass‑market consumer application
* Design and deliver a modular core platform enabling rapid, reliable feature iteration.
* Recruit, mentor and lead a lean, high‑impact engineering team
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
* Formal training or certification on React engineering concepts and proficient expert experience
* Proven delivery of commercial React Native applications in production across Android & iOS at scale
* Deep understanding of React Native and Expo internals
* Latest knowledge of architecture, tooling and best practices in mobile app development
* Mastery of TypeScript
* Experience optimizing large codebases
* Hands‑on knowledge of mobile build & release systems
* Strong grasp of architecture patterns
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills
* Published React Native app(s) in public app stores
* Native Kotlin and/or Swift experience
* Kotlin Multiplatform exposure
