As service Engineer, you will work directly with the end customer when required, carrying out complex repairs and inspections to aircraft landing gear at our customers' facilities.

Service Engineer - Gloucester
As service Engineer, you will work directly with the end customer when required, carrying out complex repairs and inspections to aircraft landing gear at our customers' facilities.
Key responsibilities:
* Disassembly and inspection of landing gear, with application of remedial action to enable final assembly, test and certification
* Work in accordance with OEM instructions as required.
* Carry out complex repairs and inspections to aircraft landing gear at our customers' facilities
* Communicating directly to customers managing their expectations to provide excellent support.
* Carry out onsite support as required working as part of a workshop team
* Carrying out the recertification of landing gears including disassembly, inspection, local repairs, bushing, assembly & test
What you'll need:
* Engineering Apprenticeship + 5 Yrs experience in an aviation environment or similar
* Ability to interpret Component Maintenance Manuals, Technical Drawings & instructions.
* High level of dexterity with attention for detail
* Ability to use a variety of hand tools including precision measuring equipment.
* Understanding of electrical circuits.
* UK driving license
* Role requires frequent travel and applicants must be deemed medically fit to travel
