About the Role:
We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Night Awake Support Worker to join our specialist provision supporting young children aged 612 who have experienced trauma. You will play a vital role in providing overnight care and support, helping children build positive relationships, increase self-esteem, and develop the skills they need to thrive at home and at school.
Responsibilities:
Provide overnight support and care for children in a safe and nurturing environment.
Offer personal care and support when required.
Support children in managing challenging behaviours with patience and understanding.
Maintain safeguarding standards at all times.
Work as part of a team to ensure consistency of care and support for children.
Skills & Experience:
Passionate about making a positive difference in childrens lives.
Background in child support, education, or similar is desirable.
Comfortable providing personal care and handling challenging behaviours.
Strong understanding of safeguarding principles.
NVQ qualification is preferable, but opportunities for funded NVQ progression are available.
Must hold a valid driving licence and have access to a vehicle.
