About The Role
ForeverCare are looking for a full time dedicated Residential Practitioner to provide quality, person-centred care to Children aged 5 to 17, with a variety of different needs and requirements who require care and support in our ever-expanding service.
You will work alongside the Registered Manager, Deputy Manager and Senior Residential Practitioner caring for and supporting our children to progress positively through receiving encouragement, understanding, care and patience. You will work with external agencies. All daily and specific recordings will need to be completed to a high standard and inputted on to a software system.
You will report directly to the Senior Practitioner Deputy Manager and Registered Manager.
We are keen to speak with candidates who can work days and/or nights.
In order to be considered for this role you must meet the following criteria:
* Right to Work in the UK
* 6 months+ UK experience of working within a similar setting
* 5 years of professional references
* Enhanced DBS, subscribed to the update service (or willing to get one)
Work towards achieving the best outcomes for children in line with Care Quality standards and Children\'s homes regulations 2015.
Most Desirable Qualifications
level 3 Diploma in Social Care (0-18 year olds) Will require no further NVQ .
Next Desirable Qualifications
level 3 Diploma in Adult social care (Will require doing 3 units of Residential Care level three NVQ)
No Qualifications requires full level 3 NVQ in Residential Childcare (17 Units)

About Us
In our Residential Children\'s homes we offer care for vulnerable young people aged 5 and above. We currently have 6 registered children\'s homes with Ofsted. These young people are vulnerable and some can be challenging. It is ForeverCare\'s aim to improve the lives of these young people and provide care for them to keep them safe and improve the quality of their lives. Experience working in care is very important for working in our residential children\'s homes and having an NVQ level 3 is beneficial.
