Nylander couture is looking for an Experienced Pattern Cutter/ Tailor Nylander Couture is a company that offers Tailoring, pattern cutting, sample making and bespoke services for men, women & childrenswear clients. Our growing team complete collections from initial sketch to production working with clients and factories in the UK and worldwide. We are currently working with a few exciting luxury menswear and womenswear clients that are at the early stages of building their labels We are therefore looking for someone who is interested in joining us on this fun and challenging journey. You will: • Attend fittings work with a senior pattern cutter to assist in making patterns,toiles and sealed samples including making and doing alterations. • Working on garments that involve hand sewing and sample cutting. You Have: • Good understanding of written and spoken English • Great people skills, shrewd business sense and interest in dealing with initial briefs. • Good excel and Dropbox knowledge. Qualifications - We would like someone with a basic understanding of Pattern cutting and Tailoring good knowledge of the English language. - Knowledge of Dropbox and Microsoft Teams would be an advantage but not essential.
