We are looking for an Assistant Manager to join this growing team.

Our Public Sector Financial Reporting and Accounting Support (“FRAS”) team provides support in accounting, financial reporting, and finance functions to non-audit clients in the public sector. Our UK audit practice employs over 2300 people across 24 locations, with a strong focus on wellbeing, resources, and quality. Role overview
As an Assistant Manager in our public sector financial reporting team, you will:
* Deliver client fieldwork focusing on quality and risk management
* Meet project deadlines
* Use problem-solving skills for complex technical issues, including technical accounting
* Build strong relationships with clients and team members
* Identify potential new service opportunities
* Strive for continuous improvement and support
Candidate criteria
Minimum requirements include:
* Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ICAS, CA, ACCA, or CIPFA)
* Good knowledge of IFRS standards and public sector application
* Interest in client needs and business challenges
* Desire to maintain and develop technical knowledge
