DV Cleared Senior DevSecOps / OpenShift Platform Engineer - Corsham
Up to £650 per day - Outside IR35
Hybrid - 3 days per week on site
We are supporting a major MOD platform programme seeking an experienced DV Cleared DevSecOps / Platform Engineer to support the engineering and delivery of secure container platforms hosted on Red Hat OpenShift.
This role sits within a high-performing platform engineering team responsible for building, improving, and operating enterprise Kubernetes environments supporting critical defence workloads. Engineers will work across both development and live production environments, supporting platform capability development, workload onboarding, and secure DevSecOps pipeline integration.
This is not a traditional support role. We are specifically looking for engineers who build, engineer, and deploy workloads on the platform - not just operate it.
Key responsibilities
1. Build, configure, and maintain Red Hat OpenShift platforms
2. Support application teams onboarding containerised workloads
3. Contribute to CI/CD and DevSecOps pipeline engineering
4. Implement platform automation, security integration, and Infrastructure as Code
5. Support performance, availability, and continuous platform improvement
Key experience required
6. Strong hands-on experience with OpenShift and Kubernetes
7. DevOps / DevSecOps or Platform Engineering background
8. Experience deploying and managing containerised workloads in production
9. Experience working in secure or regulated environments preferred
10. Active DV Clearance required
