The Role:
The company is looking for Trainee or Experienced NDT Technicians to join its UK team. For experienced candidates, youll be expected your technical skills across a range of aircraft platforms, conducting essential inspections and testing. Trainees will be provided with comprehensive training to gain Non:Destructive Testing (NDT) qualifications, developing hands:on experience while working alongside industry experts.
Key Responsibilities:
: Conducting Magnetic Particle Inspections (MPI) and Dye Penetrant Inspections (DPI) on various aircraft components.
: Supporting routine daily, weekly, and monthly control checks.
: Assisting in stock management and the maintenance of plant equipment.
: Collaborating with the SOP Engineer to develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
: Ensuring compliance with EASA, FAA, and internal company safety, quality, and environmental standards.
Candidate Requirements:
Experienced Technicians:
: EN4179 certification in both Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI) and Dye Penetrant Inspection (DPI).
: Proven experience in a Non:Destructive Testing environment.
: Ability to read and interpret manufacturer overhaul and repair manuals.
Trainee Technicians:
: Some experience or background in engineering or the aerospace industry.
: Enthusiasm for developing hands:on skills in Non:Destructive Testing.
: A willingness to undergo training and gain industry:recognised NDT certifications.
: A GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths and English.
