An exciting opportunity has arisen for Learning Support Assistants to join a dedicated Additional Learning Support team. This role involves supporting students with a wide range of learning difficulties and/or disabilities, enabling them to access educational opportunities and achieve their potential. Key responsibilities: Provide in-class support across practical and theory-based lessons. Assist teaching staff in meeting the individual needs of students. Deliver out-of-class support sessions focused on individualised targets. Help learners develop independent study skills. Contribute to individual support strategy plans in collaboration with teaching colleagues. What we're looking for: A proactive, resourceful, and learner-focused approach. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to motivate and engage students. Experience supporting young people and/or adults with learning difficulties and disabilities (desirable). Educated to at least Level 3, with English and maths qualifications. Some knowledge of Educational Health Care Plans (EHCPs) and review procedures (training provided).
