Business Development Manager
£35,000 – £40,000 Basic (DOE) + 20% Commission
Fuel Allowance: 45p per mile
Field-Based | Office 1–2 Days per Week
We are recruiting on behalf of a fast-moving, multi-award-winning business within telecoms, connectivity, mobile, data, and security solutions (including CCTV and access control).
About the Company
Founded in 2020, this rapidly growing organisation is making a strong impact within the technology services sector. They deliver tailored voice, data, connectivity, and security solutions to businesses nationwide and are continuing to scale at pace.
The Role
As a Business Development Manager, you will play a key role in driving revenue growth through proactive new business development. This is a true “hunter” role, focused on prospecting, qualifying, and closing opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
1. Identify, qualify, and develop new sales opportunities
2. Book and attend face-to-face client meetings
3. Manage the full sales cycle from first contact to closing
4. Develop strong product knowledge across telecoms, connectivity, mobile, data, and security solutions
5. Maintain and manage a healthy sales pipeline
6. Attend the office 1–2 times per week to collaborate with the wider team
7. Manage your accounts organising service visits and refreshing their contract when the time comes
What We’re Looking For
8. Proven field sales experience within telecoms or security solutions
9. Strong track record in new business generation and closing deals
10. Target-driven and highly motivated
11. Excellent communication and negotiation skills
12. Strong organisational and time management ability
13. Full UK driving licence
