Join to apply for the Section Leader role at TieTalent. This permanent role is based at the Bakkavor Bourne site (PE10 0AT). The shift pattern is 4 on, 4 off, 5:00am – 5:00pm, with a salary up to £34,650 per annum.
The role is at our Bakkavor Salads site in Bourne, which specialises in preparing fruit, leafy salads and stir fry mixes. The site employs over 1,200 people and is located about 16 miles from Peterborough and 12 miles from Spalding.
Responsibilities
* Ownership of your area, incorporating all measures and KPIs to include H&S, Food Safety, People and Performance.
* Driving creativity and innovation, reviewing existing processes and procedures to deliver efficient, effective and sustainable improvement.
* Ensuring we meet and exceed all H&S and Food Safety standards, directly intervening with safety walks, raising team awareness and engagement.
* Optimizing team development and upskilling, via regular coaching and influencing.
* Constructively challenge performance of area using data captured through REDZONE - our shop floor data capture system.
* Ownership of daily plan sign off, determining resource requirements to deliver an efficient production plan (materials / equipment / labour).
* Managing material stocks and minimizing waste, using fit-for-purpose systems and timely decision making.
* Identify performance management and training requirements ensuring ownership of skills sign off, and maintaining up to date records.
* Influencing colleagues across a number of levels and functions.
Qualifications
* Experience within an FMCG production manufacturing environment, where challenge and continuous improvement is the norm.
* A tenacious, hard working approach, with the ability to manage a number of activities and adapt to changing circumstances.
* A solid understanding of retailer expectations and how we meet them.
* You'll be a great leader, capable of inspiring and engaging your team, understanding the pressure of a factory environment.
