We’re partnering with a remote-first, early-stage ClimateTech startup building an advanced analytics and observability platform designed to make the digital supply chain cleaner, faster, and more cost-efficient.
They're looking for a hands-on Head of Engineering to take ownership of technical delivery and help scale both the platform and the team.
This is a true player-coach role; ideal for someone who loves shaping strategy but is equally happy rolling up their sleeves.
The role:
You’ll work closely with the CTO to translate product vision into robust, scalable B2B SaaS, while embedding best-in-class engineering practices.
Key focus areas:
* Own end-to-end engineering delivery
* Lead, mentor and grow a high-performing remote team
* Drive CI/CD, testing and observability standards
* Make pragmatic architecture decisions for scale
* Ensure platform reliability and performance
* Support hiring as the team grows
About you
We’re open-minded on background, but you’ll likely bring:
* 7+ years in software engineering
* 2 years experience in a technical leadership role
* Strong full-stack capability
* Expertise in at least one backend language; Python, Go, Node.js
* Cloud-native experience; AWS, GCP or Azure
* Product-centric mindset
* Comfortable in fast-moving startup environments
* People-first leadership style
* Experience with remote/distributed teams
Nice to have:
B2B SaaS, media/streaming, or CleanTech exposure.
