The role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Safeguarding Officer to join our academy and work as part of an experienced pastoral team who oversee the day to day running of safeguarding within the academy, helping to support our students and families.
The successful candidate should be someone who is a highly organised, dynamic and approachable individual, who will deal with complex safeguarding issues in a calm, methodical manner, whilst regularly liaising with our Directors of Learning and wider pastoral team. They proactively work to ensure that safeguarding practices at the academy go from strength to strength.

You will be a compassionate, empathetic individual who is ready to act as an advocate for our KAA community, and has the ability to encourage students to achieve their best despite adversity. You will be able to create and maintain relationships with external agencies and partners as the main point of contact at the academy.

The role is being offered on a 42-week annual contract, with fantastic benefits. Working hours are 8am-5pm Monday-Thursday and 8am -4pm on Friday.

KAA is an 11 – 18 academy situated in the heart of Notting Hill. We opened in brand new buildings in 2014 with just Year 7 and our facilities are second to none. We are now in our ninth year of operation and are a full school with 1,250 students in Years 7 to 13.
