Binnies, an RSK Group company, is looking for a Project Manager to join our @one Alliance.
Role Overview:
As a Performance Delivery Manager, you will manage a team and oversee the development of solutions to ensure the successful completion of multiple projects, adhering to quality, water, and safety standards, while complying with legislation, Alliance governance, and processes. You will oversee projects throughout their lifecycle, ensuring operational needs and conflicts are handled effectively to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure CDM compliance through the TOTEX Delivery Process, audits, checks, and peer reviews to promote a ‘Zero-Harm’ culture.
* Develop and maintain a high-performing team culture, empowering staff from Engineers to Commercial personnel to think creatively and resolve issues.
* Translate programme-level strategies into tangible outcomes, ensuring team members are fully aware of their roles in achieving project success.
* Manage the full project lifecycle from needs assessment, scoping, construction, to handover, warranty management, and sign-off.
* Collaborate with Commercial and Planning teams to maintain accurate cost and resource forecasts, addressing issues proactively.
* Oversee solutions to ensure they are safe, commercially viable, and meet project requirements.
* Ensure projects meet deliverables and milestones such as Project Rehearsal and Fit for Assembly.
* Foster an open, approachable, and visible team environment that promotes collaboration across the @one alliance and other organizations.
Skills, Experience, and Behaviours:
* Recent experience in the Water industry, with strong knowledge of Health & Safety, drinking water standards, and CDM regulations, complemented by an IOSH qualification.
* Experience managing multiple projects, ideally with an APMP qualification, and strong communication and relationship-building skills.
* Experience working within a commercial framework and knowledge of NEC Option C contracts to facilitate quick decision-making.
* Proven ability to manage teams in a performance-driven environment, with strategic thinking and delegation skills.
