Vehicle Technician Needed for an independent garage in Southampton:
1. Basic salary: Up to £38,500
2. Team bonus: Team performance bonus scheme
3. Hours: Monday to Friday 07:30 - 18:00 different shifts available
4. Must have experience as a technician
5. UK Full driving Licence
Our Client, a small independent garage group based in the Southampton area, dealing with all makes of models of vehicles are seeking a Vehicle Technician for their branch in the Totton area of Southampton. They are a well-respected automotive business, with multiple sites across the Hampshire area, providing a whole range of automotive services.

Duties of a Technician with our Client:
14. Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on many types of vehicles while maintaining company and industry standards and adhering to time constraints
15. Carry out MOTs if applicable
16. High skill level with experience on Cambelts
17. Carry out vehicle repairs and communicate issues to service manager and service advisors; conduct additional repair work as advised by managers or advisors
18. Use manufacturer diagnostic equipment to ensure diagnostics, testing, and repairs are thorough and to highest quality
19. Keep work area clean, neat, and to company standards, especially to ensure safety of all team members
What our Client expects of their Technician:
20. Time Served experience without qualifications - Considered
21. Qualified to NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Vehicle Maintenance or Similar - Ideally
22. To provide basic tooling and equipment, or be able to purchase own basic tooling and equipment prior to employment
23. A willingness to learn new skills
24. Organisational skills, and work well under pressure
25. Knowledge of the motor trade
26. Good team player
27. Full UK driving licence (Necessity)
