The Samsung Services team works across the division delivering services such as insurance (Samsung Care+), digital pay and non-payment functionality (Samsung Wallet), driving the Health Strategy (Samsung Health App) and on device revenue partnerships to the UK market. The team interacts closely with the European Services team (UK/Chertsey) and the Headquarters (Korea) team to ensure success.
Role and Responsibilities
Role Overview:
As a Head of Service Business Development, you will lead the partnership growth and commercial development of key service verticals – Samsung Wallet, Samsung Care+ and Samsung Health across SEUK. This leadership role involves owning the business development roadmap, identifying growth opportunities and is pivotal in driving the expansion, monetization, and market penetration of Samsung’s Service portfolio. You will be responsible for unlocking and developing senior strategic partnerships in order to enhance SEUK’s service offerings, and driving user adoption.
Key Objectives;
Open and secure high impact partnerships to drive the growth, adoption and monetization of Samsung Service portfolio.
1. Lead the end-to-end business development strategy for Samsung Wallet, Care+, and Health Services.
2. Identify and secure commercial partnerships that enhance the value proposition and revenue potential of these services.
3. Lead Negotiations and manage senior strategic relationship with external partners and internal collaborators.
4. Define and implement go-to-market plans in collaboration with the wider Service team.
5. Nurture and develop relationships with existing portfolio of accounts – track & optimise performance, manage partner roadmap & future propositions.

6. Proven experience in business development, strategic partnerships within a tech, mobile, fintech, or digital health context.

13. Experience in a complicated matrix structure of inter related teams and lead to ensure that customer needs are met
14. Future focused, always looking to identify and leverage consumer grounded opportunities for future profitable growth
