Overview
We are seeking a passionate, ambitious and motivated individual to join our central administration team. The successful candidate will provide proactive, customer focused and highly professional administrative support, contributing to the smooth and effective operation of the school. This role will also play a key part in supporting the Year 6–7 transition process, ensuring clear communication, well coordinated activities and a positive experience for students, families and staff.
Start Date: as soon as possible
Term: Permanent (You are required to complete a 26 working weeks probation period before the appointment is confirmed)
Hours: 37 hours per week / 38 weeks (Term time + 3 training days)
Working Day: Monday to Thursday, 8:00am to 4:00pm and Friday - 8:00am to 3:30pm
Grade: LG Grade 3, SCP 5-6 (Generic job description E9009B)
FTE salary: £25,583 - £25,989
Key Qualifications
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Strong IT proficiency, including the use of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and other relevant applications
* A customer-focused approach with a commitment to delivering high-quality service
* Exceptional attention to detail
* The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
* Previous experience in a similar role
* Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise workload efficiently
* Confidence in inputting and retrieving information using SIMS
* The ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
* A commitment to promoting and embedding our shared vision and ethos across the College
