£40,500 per annum - Salary - Remote first (must be commute able to Liverpool NW). 9 day fortnight option.
About the Role
Halr Tech Group is seeking a dedicated experienced Autism Practitioner to support the delivery of community-based, personalised support for complex autistic individuals with learning disabilities and who may present with behaviours that challenge. This role is pivotal in ensuring the safety, well-being, and development of both people supported and staff.
Reporting to the Autism Lead you will provide a range of functions to work with staff in the effective and person-centered delivery of support, ensuring that services are neuro-affirming and align with best practices within specialist care. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional looking to take the next step in their career. *MUST HAVE A MINIMIUM OF 5+ years social care experience within Autism and have experience of working with individuals that present challenging behaviours due to Learning disabilities (NOT Mental health), coupled with significant leadership experience *
MUST BE A DRIVER WITH USE OF A CAR, AS THIS ROLE WILL REQUIRE SOME TRAVEL THROUGHOUT THE NORTHWEST (1-3 Days per week)!
To be considered for this role you MUST have senior experience of managing individuals with Autism and Learning disabilities combined. This should be clearly stated within your CV and job description. Interviews will be on 5-9th May. This role would suit an Autism ex-practitioner, Learning disabilities mobility Lead, ABA or PBS Trainer etc..
Key Responsibilities
Service Delivery & Person-Centred Care:
* Development and delivery of innovative support and interventions to meet autistic individuals needs.
* Mentoring and supporting staff to ensure the delivery of person-centred approach.
* Contribute to the development and delivery of bespoke training.
* Model excellent practice to maintain high performance and standards.
* Working to reduce restrictive practices and interventions and increase quality of life outcomes.
* Promote best practices through training and mentorship.
Community & Stakeholder Engagement:
* Build strong relationships with professionals, families, and external stakeholders.
* Ensure positive interactions between staff and the people supported.
* Act as a role model and mentor within the complex care teams.
