This is a full-time on-site role for a Buyer, located in Crewe. The Buyer will be responsible for purchasing products, services, and materials to meet organisational needs.
Duties will include identifying and analysing suppliers, negotiating contracts, managing purchase orders, and maintaining inventory levels to ensure adequate supply.
The role involves evaluating purchasing decisions, analysing market trends, and collaborating with various teams to maintain optimal procurement practices.
* Strong negotiation, decision-making, and analytical skills to manage supplier relationships and assess market trends.
* Experience with inventory management, purchase order creation, and procurement processes.
* Proficiency in tracking budgets and cost optimization.
* Knowledge of supply chain operations and logistics is preferred.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills for supplier and internal team collaboration.
* Familiarity with procurement software and tools is an advantage.
* Relevant qualifications or certifications in procurement, supply chain management, or a related field
