Teacher of Physics Hertfordshire (AL8 6YR)
Prospero Teaching is working with an Ofsted rated Good secondary school who are looking to recruit a NQT or experienced Teacher of Physics. We are looking for a Teacher of Physics who can start in a thriving and supportive school based in Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire.
This position is starting January 2026 (or sooner) and is open to both ECTs and experienced teachers. The ideal Teacher of Physics will be committed, positive, and a versatile classroom practitioner to join their successful Science department.
You will be required to deliver excellent subject knowledge across KS3 and KS4, with opportunities to teach KS5 for the right candidate. This is a large, mixed secondary school with modern facilities and a strong focus on academic progress and enrichment.

Teacher of Physics Experience, Training and Qualifications:
QTS or equivalent
PGCE / SCITT / Teach First trained
Physics-related degree
Up-to-date knowledge of the Science curriculum
Strong classroom management skills and enthusiasm for the subject
