About the Team
County Fleet Maintenance are Warwickshire County Councils in house vehicle maintenance and fleet assistance providers.
We are looking for a Workshop Supervisor to join our team within a busy and dynamic workshop in Coleshill, managing workloads, assisting the team and supporting the day to day running of our operation. This is an exciting opportunity to join our team and develop your skills while gaining valuable experience in a supportive and collaborative environment.
About the Role
You will be responsible for a team of technicians, providing administrative and clerical support to the workshop, ensuring smooth daily operations and effective communication. This involves managing schedules, stock and vehicle parts, coordinating resources, handling paperwork, and maintaining records related to workshop activities and customer interactions.
This is a full-time permanent role working 37 hours per week.
Key Requirements
1. Previous experience managing a workshop and a team
2. Knowledge of workshop, fleet or technical service operations
3. Understanding of compliance requirements (health & safety, MOT regulations, recordkeeping standards)
4. Good communication skills to liaise with Supervisors, Technicians, customers and suppliers

An NPPV check is required for individuals who are to be appointed due to frequent and uncontrolled access to government assets.
