About the Role:
Shifts Pattern: 35 hours per week
We are seeking Support Workers who are empathetic and compassionate to deliver person-centred support to individuals with autism, learning disabilities, and mental health conditions in supported living settings. Your role will involve helping individuals live as independently as possible, supporting their goals, interests, health, well-being, and community involvement.
No prior experience is necessary as full training will be provided, including a paid, three-week induction.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist individuals in their homes according to Care Plans and assess their skills and needs.
* Provide practical support, such as household tasks.
* Offer emotional support through conversation and listening.
* Adapt communication to meet individual needs.
* Respect privacy and dignity at all times.
* Support strategies to manage challenging behaviors.
* Monitor healthcare needs, including medication administration where applicable.

* Compassionate and understanding of individuals' frustrations and confusions

* Willing to assist with domestic duties, cooking, personal care, appointments, and social activities
* Capable of clear, sensitive communication and remaining calm in difficult situations
