Procurement Coordinator | Supply Chain Coordinator Job Title: Procurement CoordinatorLocation: Essex Salary: £28,000 - £38,000 (DOE) About the Role:We are seeking an organised and detail-driven Procurement Coordinator to support the end-to-end procurement process. This role is ideal for someone with experience in purchasing, supply chain, or procurement administration who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working closely with internal stakeholders and external suppliers. Key Responsibilities Support the procurement function with day-to-day purchasing activity Raise and manage purchase orders in line with company policies Liaise with suppliers to obtain quotations, track orders, and resolve queries Maintain accurate supplier, pricing, and contract records Assist with supplier onboarding and compliance documentation Support tendering, contract renewals, and supplier reviews Monitor delivery schedules and flag any risks or delays Produce procurement reports and support cost-saving initiatives Work closely with finance, operations, and internal teams Skills & Experience: Previous experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain (preferred) Strong organisational skills and attention to detail Confident communicator with the ability to build supplier relationships Comfortable using procurement systems and Microsoft Excel Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines Analytical mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving Desirable: (but not essential) Experience with ERP or procurement software Knowledge of contracts or supplier management CIPS qualification or working towards one What We Offer: Competitive salary and benefits package Opportunities for career progression within procurement Supportive and collaborative team environment Hybrid or flexible working options (where applicable) 4792712
