Overview
This Job is based in Australia. The School of Health Sciences at UNSW is expanding to support education agendas across four health professional education programs, with a focus on shaping the future health workforce in Australia and beyond.
Responsibilities
* Primarily responsible for experiential learning (clinical placements and simulation) throughout the pharmacy program.
* Deliver high-quality teaching and contribute to educational initiatives within the university’s education-focused roles (EF) framework.
* Support curriculum development and assessment in pharmacy education at undergraduate and/or postgraduate levels (as applicable).
Qualifications
* A PhD in a related discipline, and/or relevant work experience
* General Registration with the Pharmacy Board of Australia (AHPRA)
* Knowledge and experience in clinical areas relevant to the practice of pharmacy and the ability to deliver appropriate care
* Active engagement in ongoing professional development and discipline knowledge updates
* Demonstrated experience in clinical teaching and assessment at undergraduate and/or postgraduate levels
* Evidence of teaching effectiveness and passion for educational excellence (e.g., curriculum design in clinical education across multiple levels/scales)
* Knowledge of industry or experience with work-integrated learning is desirable
* Level C: advanced clinical knowledge and capability to deliver person-centred care; potential for credentialing in medicines review, aged care, or other specialty areas (desired); demonstrated leadership in inclusive teaching and curriculum development
Employment Details
* Employment Type: Full-time (35 hours per week)
* Duration: Continuing
* Remuneration: $127k - $178k base, plus 17% superannuation and leave loading
* Location: Kensington, Sydney
* Work rights: Visa sponsorship is not available; candidates must hold full rights to work in Australia
