A prestigious Housing Developer, known in the industry for their high-quality homes, is seeking a permanent Assistant Site Manager to join their team in Derby. The site consists of 100+ traditional and bespoke homes.
Job Duties:
* Assist the Site Manager in overseeing all aspects of the construction site
* Coordinate and manage subcontractors and tradespeople
* Ensure health and safety regulations are adhered to on-site
* Monitor progress and quality of work on-site
* Resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during construction
* Assist in the planning and scheduling of construction activities
Required Qualifications:
* SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme)
* CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme)
* First Aid certification
* Valid Driving Licence
Knowledge and Skills:
* Strong understanding of construction processes and working to NHBC
* Excellent communication and leadership skills
* Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
* Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Working Conditions:
This role involves working on a construction site, which may include outdoor work and exposure to various weather conditions.
