Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm

The Role - Electrician – Reactive & Remedial Installs
They are currently seeking a fully qualified and experienced electrician to join their reactive maintenance team, working on the Brighton & Hove Council commercial contract. This role focuses on reactive repairs with occasional small-scale installations across a variety of council-operated commercial premises.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Working as part of a team of 4, delivering reactive maintenance and remedial installations
2. Covering commercial properties including libraries, town halls, public facilities, and buildings within the Pavilion estate
3. Responding to urgent repairs and maintenance requests
4. Carrying out minor electrical installations as required
5. Interfacing with council representatives and maintaining professional relationships
Requirements:
6. 10–15 years of experience (including apprenticeship)
7. Fully qualified: NVQ Level 3, AM2, and 18th Edition
8. Testing & Inspection certification (desirable but not essential)
9. Full, clean UK driving licence
10. Clean DBS check
11. Professional, client-facing manner with excellent communication skills
12. Must live locally to Brighton
