Global Banking School (GBS) was founded in 2010 as a specialist training center for finance and investment banking. Initially offering courses to students worldwide, GBS expanded its offerings over the years. In 2016, GBS opened its first campus in London’s East End, focusing on providing education to underrepresented groups. Today, GBS has ten campuses across London, Birmingham, Leeds, and Manchester, offering a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate programs in finance, business, healthcare, and more. We are currently seeking full-time Lecturers to teach across a range of levels, with flexibility to teach during weekdays, evenings, and weekends.

As a Lecturer in Construction Management at Global Banking School, you will educate and inspire students in the principles and practices of construction management, including the legal, environmental, and technological context of today’s construction industry. You will deliver comprehensive course materials, oversee all aspects of student work, and stay updated with student support practices.
Responsibilities include:
* Planning, delivering, and assessing student work to meet all learning outcomes
* Developing, updating, and improving course materials as appropriate
* Using various teaching methods, including live online learning
* Participating in staff development activities, peer observations, meetings, and administrative duties
* Staying informed about student support practices
* Working towards specific objectives for student outcomes, satisfaction, retention, and attendance
Essential qualifications:
* A Master's degree in a relevant subject area (PhD desirable)
* Previous UK HE lecturing experience in the wider subject area
* Extensive knowledge of relevant subject matter
* Experience supervising student work and providing feedback
* Attention to detail and organized record-keeping
* Experience supporting online and face-to-face learners
* Ability to work under pressure, plan, and prioritize workload
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills
* Ability to work with diverse groups of people
Desirable qualifications:
* Knowledge of and experience teaching Construction Management, especially Building Information Modelling (BIM) and digital technologies
* Experience facilitating Computer Aided Design (CAD) workshops
* Postgraduate Certificate of Academic Practice or equivalent, or willingness to enroll and complete within three years, or HEA Fellowship
* Experience designing or developing academic or professional education programs
* Full membership of CIOB or an equivalent body
