Management Accountant
Location – Trafford Park, Manchester
Salary – based on experience
About the company:
A well-established import/retail SME based in Trafford Park, Manchester. You’ll be working in a broad role, supporting management accounting, decision-making and commercial understanding within the business, alongside other finance responsibilities. The person in this role also has the opportunity to grow within the business.
Responsibilities include:
* Monthly management accounts &P+L reporting
* Balance sheet reconciliations
* General ledger management
* Various kinds of analysis, particularly around cost, stock, and margin
* VAT Returns
* Leveraging CRM system to support financial and commercial analysis
* Identifying and actioning areas of business improvement
* Any other ad hoc tasks
Skills/Qualifications required:
* Previous experience assisting with or preparing management accounts, either gained within industry or practice
* Self-starter, keen to progress
* Excellent communication skills
* Good time-management and organisational skills, with the ability to multi-task
* Strong Excel skills
* Previous experience in a similar industry a bonus, but not required
