As the Customer Interaction Manager for Social Media you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies, delivery and optimisation of Aldi's Social Media and Influencer programmes. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership and communication skills, as well as proven experience in social media, influencer management and content generation.

Your New Role

Strategic Planning: Creating and implementing marketing strategies for Aldi's Social Media and Influencer programmes aligned with Aldi's national and global business objectives and demands, while being clear on cost and benefit ambitions to contribute to the overall success of the business

Campaign Alignment: Planning, execution, and optimisation of content to support key events, campaigns and seasonal moments while developing and sustaining a business culture directed at driving cost efficiencies and effectiveness

Insights: Collaborate nationally and internationally to understand the context and role of social media and influencers within the wider business, considering future business needs. Encourage innovation testing new ideas, concepts and approaches

Team Leadership: Managing and mentoring a team of high performing marketing professionals, providing guidance, feedback and support to help them deliver their best performance, professional growth and development

Stakeholder Management: Working closely with other marketing teams and stakeholders across the business – nationally and globally – to understand product and category strategies and translating these into relevant and compelling recommendations

Budget Management: Managing the social media and influencer marketing budget ensuring efficient allocation of resources and costs to deliver cost efficient activities

About You

* Proven experience within a Communications team
* Led a team that translates business and customer demands into content solutions
* Experience in managing external agencies
* Social media & Influencer management
* Proven success in delivering high-calibre marketing initiatives or projects, preferably in retail
* Reporting and analytics skills
* Significant and varied stakeholder management experience
* Excellent attention to detail and the ability to prioritise effectively whilst under pressure
* Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external partners
* Excellent listening, interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
* Excellent problem-solving skills, with a solution-oriented mindset
* Capable of handling substantial responsibility with a practical, results focused approach
* An ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively
* Experience in optimising processes to enhance efficiency and reduce operational blockers. A proactive and proven approach to identifying and implementing improvements
* Good understanding and experience of managing and delivering Marketing/ customer centric activity

* Starting salary £61,985 rising to £95,655
* Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm, with the opportunity of 2 days remote working
