Rutherford Cross is delighted to be partnering with a global premium drinks business in Lanarkshire to appoint a permanent Payroll Team Leader. Reporting to the Head of Shared Services, this represents a fantastic opportunity to join a globally recognised brand. Role Purpose: The leadership and management of the businesses centralised UK and Overseas Payroll functions. Adherence to UK and overseas legislation whilst ensuring contracted deductions are made in line with T&C’s and payments to employees and relevant external bodies are made on a timely basis. Key Activities and Responsibilities: Manage the payroll function end-to-end Lead in the delivery of new payroll projects, implementations and enhancements of payroll systems and processes Work closely with the HR team to enhance strong relationships to provide an effective service to employees Develop, manage and control payroll systems and processes Ensure regulatory compliance within the payroll team Oversight and review of the month-end financial process for payroll reporting Monthly balance sheet reconciliations Experience: Strong communication skills Previous experience in large payroll function Strong excel skills Please contact Nadia Stahl at Rutherford Cross for more information.
