Citrus Recruit is working with a global organization to recruit an experienced Sales Account Manager for Ground Support Equipment.
You will work as part of a global team, managing key accounts and developing strategic sales initiatives for new customers across Europe.
Primary responsibilities include maintaining and growing business relationships, engaging with key decision‑makers and traveling regularly across Europe and occasionally the US.
Key Responsibilities
* Maintaining relationships and growing new business opportunities with customers, visiting face to face as and when required.
* Build and maintain solid business relationships with key decision‑makers within assigned accounts.
* Develop tailored sales strategies for specific accounts to maximise business opportunities.
* Create sales proposals and deliver product presentations to potential customers.
* Prepare and submit tenders, ensuring accuracy in legal and financial negotiations.
* Work with internal teams to ensure the highest customer service levels
* Attend and assist in preparing for industry trade shows and seminars.
Required Skills and Experience
* Experienced in Account Management/Business Development with Ground Support Equipment within an airport environment.
* Excellent relationship-building and networking skills, with a focus on long‑term customer alliances.
* Fluent in either Dutch or German.
* Ability to prepare and negotiate tenders, legal terms, and financial conditions.
* Ability to travel as needed to meet with customers and attend related events.
* Full driving licence; comfortable with regular travel across Europe (weekly basis) and occasionally the US.
Benefits Package
* Salary £70,000 DoE
* Bonus paid annually – circa £15,000
* Car allowance of £8,220
