Your role at Clorox:
Maternity cover for 12 Months for Shopper Marketing and Insight Manager. This role leverages analytics and insights to provide insights for category growth and joint business planning (JBP), identify volume gaps, and support customer-facing sales initiatives. Additionally, this role contributes to innovation planning by offering retail execution insights and creating compelling sell-in materials for new product launches.
During activation planning cycles, the Shopper Marketing and Insight Manager leads the design and execution of strategic retail promotion programs across all channels. This role is responsible for developing and deploying in-store and digital point-of-sale (POS) materials, managing trade merchandising solutions, and producing promotional assets in collaboration with third-party vendors.
In this role, you will:
75% Sales Analytics/ Sales and Shopper Insights
1. Establishes key AMPS analytics and reporting with insight/ understanding across market, customers. Is the expert on where we are with AMPS opportunities & how to close them.
2. Identification and development of opportunities / volume gaps via analytics. Produces customizable customers facing sales stories / category stories in support of scaled initiatives
3. Category and shopper analytics/insights in support of driving key JBPs
4. Manage monthly reporting processes in PowerBi, performing file audits, validating new product entries and ensuring accurate data communication to the wider business
25% Trade Marketing / Trade Merchandising
5. During activation planning cycles, work with 3rd parties to develop and deploy all required POS materials including shelf materials like wobblers, fins, strips, etc. to field sales / customers for execution. This includes production of assets for retailers’ digital promotions or traditional print promotions.
6. Execution of strategic retail promotion programs – goals, success parameters, targeted ROIs, spending guidelines & tracking
7. Works with Head of Shopper Marketing and Account Mangers to establish the plan and solutions for all trade merchandising (all channels) vehicles including displays, clip strips, shippers/pallets, digital “display”.
8. Development & distribution of basic digital shelf + promotional assets to 3rd parties for execution.

Required:
9. Minimum 5 years’ experience within CPG
10. Strong data analytic skills
11. Insight-led storytelling
12. Strong communication & presentation skills
13. AMPS execution knowledge
14. Experience in using and navigating PowerBi to track performance and extract actionable insights
Preferred:
15. Experienced working directly with retailer partners to share insights, support joint plans, and ensure strong execution of category and promotional initiatives.
Must have:
16. Strong analytical skills married with ability to drive from insights to action
17. Agency management
18. Translates external signals to create sales opportunities
19. Direct experience working with and influencing retailers to make AMPS decisions.
