We're seeking an experienced nursing home manager to oversee our 55-bed service, which offers nursing, dementia, residential, respite, short stay, and end-of-life care. Located in a beautiful setting, it provides a warm and supportive environment for residents and staff alike.

Key duties and responsibilities
* Provide leadership and direction to the home’s staff team, promoting kindness, compassion, and empathy.
* Recruit, train, motivate, and retain a team of skilled care professionals committed to person-centred care.
* Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including CQC standards, maintaining high standards of care and support.
* Manage the home’s budget, ensuring financial targets are met and costs are controlled.
* Build and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, and stakeholders, responding to their needs and concerns.
* Oversee administrative tasks to ensure timely and efficient record keeping.
* Monitor and evaluate the home’s performance, implementing improvements as needed.
* Manage and mitigate risks to ensure a safe environment for residents and staff.
Skills and attributes
* Minimum 3 years’ experience managing a home rated “Good” or above.
* Deep knowledge of CQC standards and care regulations.
* Skilled in staff recruitment, retention, and development.
* Strong communication and leadership skills.
* Business acumen with a focus on occupancy and growth opportunities.
* Commitment to community engagement and reputation building.
