Applause IT are hiring for an IT Support Technician for a luxury travel management company based in Mayfair, London. Their business delivers high-touch corporate and leisure travel services to an international client base, underpinned by a high-availability IT setup.
The IT Support Engineer will take ownership of day-to-day IT issues across the business and manage all hardware and software infrastructure, acting as the first point of contact for both internal users and external partners. This role includes a combination of reactive IT support and long-term technology planning, ensuring all systems remain current and fit for purpose.
Responsibilities include:
* Providing all IT support across the business, including hardware and software troubleshooting.
* Setting up systems and onboarding new staff.
* Maintaining and updating the company website in coordination with a marketing agency.
* Procuring, installing, and maintaining new technology and related equipment.
* Managing office infrastructure, including printers, workstations, deliveries, and facilities.
The successful IT Support Technician will have:
* Experience in an MSP environment, ideally at Level 2.
* Exposure to MAC-level projects, both remote and onsite.
* Strong knowledge of IT systems including:
* Active Directory, PowerShell, Windows Server, Hyper-V
* SCCM, patching, cabling, and common backup/recovery tools
* Competence with both Windows and Mac operating systems.
* A proactive, solution-focused attitude and strong attention to detail.
