The successful candidate will work 37 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
This is a 40-week-per-year role, which includes term time, non-pupil days, and an additional 1 week during school closure periods.
A Day In The Life
* You'll be responsible for bringing your passion and expertise to the following areas:
* Planning and delivering learning to small groups and whole classes;
* Working one-to-one with students with complex learning needs;
* Proactively supporting students with activities designed to enhance numeracy, literacy and social-emotional skills.
* Providing cover if class teachers are absent.
* Promoting positive behaviour, raising esteem and encouraging an aspirational culture;
* Working with SEN students to foster their development as independent learners
What We're Looking For
* Experience of working in a school setting (primary or secondary)
* The ability to use your own initiative to resolve routine problems independently
* A commitment to getting the best outcomes for all pupils
* Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to act on your own initiative
* A passion for working with children and helping them succeed
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
