This role would suit a motivated Junior Vehicle Technician or recently qualified Level 3 Vehicle Maintenance student, who is eager to develop their skills, learn from experienced engineers, and build a long-term career within the automotive and plant industry.
In this role, the successful candidate will support the workshop team with servicing, repairs, diagnostics, and inspections across a range of fleet vehicles and plant equipment while receiving ongoing training and development.
The Role:
* Supporting servicing, maintenance, and repair work on fleet vehicles and plant
* Equipment
* Assisting with diagnostics, inspections, and fault finding
* Working on brakes, suspension, clutches, and general vehicle maintenance
* Learning from experienced technicians and developing technical skills
* Occasional support with off-site maintenance work
* Opportunities for overtime, training, and progression
The Person:
* Level 3 qualified Vehicle Technician or similar
* College leaver or junior technician background
* Passion for automotive or plant engineering
* Full UK Driving Licence preferred
* Good communication skills and willingness to learn
