This school is built around supporting the needs of children with Autism, Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD), and other complex needs. It offers a warm, inclusive, and structured environment where both students and staff can thrive.
The Role Includes:
* Working 5 days a week within the school or college provision
* Covering PPA across a range of classes and supporting pupils to improve engagement, interaction, and attainment
* Supporting students with SLD, PMLD, and Autism through tailored, individualised strategies
* Developing your skills as a HLTA or Cover Supervisor through ongoing professional development
* Collaborating with parents and carers to ensure consistency between school and home
* Taking a proactive, positive approach to behaviour and learning
* Building strong relationships and trust with pupils through patience, creativity, and care
* Working in subject areas that match your strengths and interests
* Potential progression into teacher training, if you are a graduate looking to pursue a teaching career
This is a full-time, temp-to-perm opportunity, with working hours of 8:45am – 3:30/4:00pm.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
